The “Blue Ribbon Award” is a signature award conceived by the SRAM & MRAM Group of companies to mark its 30th year of entrepreneurial excellence. The award’s core mission is to recognize individuals and organizations for business and social excellence.  Some of the best leaders from top corporates, the entertainment industry, policy making, essentially game-changers for humanity at large.

Blue-Ribbon award aims to be a prestigious and highly respected award, recognizing entrepreneurship, leadership, and innovation across key industries globally.

The Inspiration

The award was conceptualized by Dr. Sailesh Lachu Hiranandani, the Founder and Chairman of the SRAM & MRAM Group. The vision is for the award to be “globally recognized as a prestigious award of very high repute” and for it to identify, celebrate, and promote outstanding achievements. The goal is to foster growth and inspire positive change within Asia and beyond. The SRAM & MRAM Group backed award highlights benchmarks of quality and motivates others by celebrating the very best in their fields.

Setting High Standards

The Blue Ribbon Award is open to individuals and corporate entities. A jury of “thought leaders, industry stalwarts, celebrities and highly accomplished corporate leaders” from across Asia and the globe evaluates the entries.

The criteria are set for different award categories.  The categories are Business & Industry Excellence, Arts & Culture, and Social Impact & Community. The esteemed jury looks for sustained innovation, leadership, and measurable outcomes to recognize people who are shaping the future; both at their local community level and the world at large.

Whom we Recognize

The Blue Ribbon Award celebrates a diverse range of achievements, honouring those who demonstrate transformational leadership, inclusive excellence, and lasting impact. The categories detail the types of achievements recognized, from the “Asian Innovator of the Year” and “Sustainable Businesses Leader” to the “Humanitarian Leadership Award” and “Lifetime Achievement Award”. For example, bios of past awardees highlight individuals like Dr. Angelina Tiah, a pioneering biotech scientist, and Ronald G. Wayne, the co-founder of Apple Inc. The award emphasizes that it is not just about winning, but about role-modelling values of purpose, progress, and inspiration for others.

Why Blue Ribbon Award

The broader purpose of the Blue Ribbon Award is to shine a light on success and build a culture of excellence. By celebrating people and organizations that have made outstanding contributions, the award creates a standard for others to aspire to. The award’s legacy and impact are rooted in its recognition that transcends borders, celebrating people who are shaping the future and inspiring higher performance across different industries and communities.

A Spellbound Ceremony

Winners are honoured at a grand ceremony, providing them with a platform for visibility and networking. The event is a formal affair, with program highlights including a “red carpet entrance,” keynote speeches, and an award presentation. The ceremony, which will host up to 200 guests, also features cultural performances and a three-course dinner. The winners and other prominent attendees gain visibility across media and their respective communities.

The Splendid Venue & Time

Venue: Grand Ballroom at Shangri-La Phnom Penh, Cambodia, which is one of the city’s largest ballrooms and can host up to 200 guests.

Date & Time: Saturday, August 26, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM Cambodian Time (ICT – UTC+7).
